Author: admin | Filed under: Animation, Digital art, Fun, Geek, Sexy, TumblrStep one: Make a tumblr blog and then theme it with a decent theme (note: you can skip steps 2 onward if you know how to make your own wicked cool theme and promote it).
Step two: Learn how to make animated gif’s.
Step three: Make lots of animated gif’s and post them all the time.
Step four: Post the url to your ask box a couple times a day and then answer totally random questions from your followers.
Step Five: Reblog other gif makers so the word gets out that you’re cool. Wait for your follower count to rise to the skies.
Here are a couple tumblrs that have done just that:
Sure there are other ways to become tumblr famous, you can create epic youtube videos and hope they take off and what not but creating gif’s is the easiest way I know to climb the ladder fast!

Catching FireFlies to Save the planet
Author: admin | Filed under: Digital artI have decided to try and create a new series around environmental issues that sooner or later we are all going to have to face. I am trying to wrap them into all things magical like catching fireflies to save energy ☺
Did you know Every time we perform the simplest task that uses energy – from making a cup of tea to turning on the TV – the natural resource used to create that energy becomes further depleted. And once it’s gone, it’s gone. Fossil fuels, which we depend on to power the world, are a finite source of energy and will run out sooner than many of us realize.
According to the World Wildlife Federation (WWF), renewable energy provides only 2.7 per cent of UK electricity and less than one per cent of overall energy use. That means that fossil fuels are more precious than ever until we resolve the problem of our reliance on them. Worryingly, industry experts predict that current oil reserves will only last another 40 years, and coal another 200 years at most – and that’s only if we carry on using energy at the rate we currently are.
I like the way this girl thinks, it is a cute idea to add a bit of magic into the “Save the Planet” campaign. We do need to conserve energy or the things we use everyday will cease to work… just like magic.
